OMC (Open Manufacturing Campus) respects your privacy.
OMC only uses your data to keep you informed of our activities, events and publications. Would you like to check what we have recorded about you in our database? OMC ensures the privacy of each visitor to its website. All your data that you enter on our website is treated as highly confidential. They are used to guarantee you better service.
When a request is made for information, OMC asks you for a minimum of personal information in order to be able to contact you:

  • Interest in Campus and/or Community

Likewise, when you are submitting your registration for an event through our website, OMC asks you for the absolute minimum of personal information in order to process your registration:

In addition your personal details are incorporated by OMC in a file in order to inform you about our activities. In accordance with the Act of 08.12.1992 on the protection of privacy, you can request your details and correct them as necessary.
By supplying your personal details, you explicitly give OMC permission to process them for the above-mentioned purposes.
You can ask at any time for the information to be removed from the file. You can object to your information being processed for direct marketing purposes free of charge.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
